ROUND VALLEY RESERVOIR PROGRESS UPDATE: 06/05/18
The Authority has concluded its planned spring pumping operations at Round Valley. Between mid-April and the end of May, 3.83 billion gallons of water was pumped from the South Branch of the Raritan River to the reservoir, raising the elevation by 6.25 feet. The reservoir is now 85% full at elevation 374. There are no current plans to add more water to the reservoir this year, in large part due to the upcoming construction projects.
Up to date reservoir water level data is available on the Authority’s main website here. Additional information about reservoir water levels is available from the NJ Department of Environmental Protection’s Drought Information Website here.
