Embankment rehabilitation work has resumed at the Dike, the embankment that is crossed by County Route 629, following a winter shutdown. The work includes placement of filter sand, filter stone, drain pipes, manholes and earthfill.
Due to construction delays, the closure of County Route 629 is being extended until at least the end of 2021. The road is closed along the Round Valley reservoir between Cherry Street and the public boat launch off Round Valley Access Road.

Dewatering well installation, tree clearing activities, security fence installation and electrical service upgrades (incoming power) is complete at all three embankments. Construction of sediment basins and storm water conveyance channels is complete at the Dike and North Dam and is on-going at the South Dam.
Work on ancillary projects, including repairs and upgrades to the reservoir’s towers and vaults, is currently underway.
Embankment rehabilitation work is expected to start at the North Dam, the dam that faces Lebanon Borough, later this year.
